Christine Golembiewski

This week in social studies we will finish our topic of "Me on the Map". We will then learn about Prseidents Wasington and Lincoln. In health we will be learning about dental health items and how to take care of our teeth. Everyone will get a new toothbrush to take home donated by Colgate!

Please watch your child's folder every day for homework. Reading and spelling homework will be given most days and should not take more than 10 minutes for your child to complete. Please do not spend more than 10 minutes having your child complete homework.

For students using the Stevenson Program, words are to be written twice on one side with the pattern underlined and again on the folded side by memory. This helps the brain remember the spelling rather than just copying the words. Also for the Stevenson Program, be sure your child reads the assigned page out loud to an adult every night.

If they are having difficulty, please write on the homework page what they were having trouble with and I will work with them. Homework will reinforce skills we have already been working on so nothing will be new for them.
Thank you!

My name is Mrs. Golembiewski, however, the students call me
“Mrs. G.” This will be my twenty-first year at Highlands Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I am looking forward to an exciting and fulfilling year with the students!
