Eric Pritchard, Principal
I'm honored to serve as Principal of Highlands Elementary School and to be part of the Osprey family. My path here runs through more than two decades in New Jersey public education — as a teacher, coach, and administrator — most recently as Vice Principal and Athletic Director here on top of the Hill at Henry Hudson Regional. That journey has taught me that great schools are built the same way great teams are: through consistency, trust, and showing up for kids and families every single day.
I believe meaningful growth almost always comes through voluntary difficulty — so I try to bring that same mindset to school leadership: set high expectations, do the hard work, and celebrate the progress along the way.
Additionally, my wife and I are blessed to have two amazing daughters (and a dog and two cats). I am an avid reader and enjoy fitness, going to the beach, and watching movies with my girls. I'm looking forward to getting to know the HES community this year...Fly Ospreys!
